The Verification Loop is the Bottleneck (Not the Model)

AI pipeline failures become diagnosable once every station has a falsifiable, calibrated gate for the artifact it receives. The useful unit is the verification loop: state the predicate, choose the human, LLM, or code surface, measure accuracy, decompose calibration, and price false accepts against false rejects. Without that discipline, confidence propagates faster than truth, and downstream teams inherit upstream miscalibration as operational cost.
